A selection of pictures from a behind the scenes tour of the attics above the Chapter House at York Minster. Construction on the Chapter House was begun in 1260, the stone Minster dates back to the 7th century. The vaulted ceiling of the Chapter House is freestanding, and unique among medieval cathedrals.
